OWNER OF Artissimi Tours & MOTTO FRIEND

Who are you? What do you do?

I'm the founder of Artissimi and one of Vienna's most popular city guides, living my dream every day. Always up to date and inspired by my tours in and around Vienna, I present my favorite city to my discerning guests from Austria and abroad from very special perspectives and angles - always with a touch of luxury and, of course, a pinch of humor.

WHAT DO YOU ASSOCIATE WITH HOTEL MOTTO VIENNA?
YOU'RE A MOTTO FRIEND, WHAT CONNECTS YOU WITH US?

I have set myself the goal of inspiring people and being inspired myself. I found such inspiration on my very first tour of the Hotel MOTTO, when it was still a building site. As you would expect, the hotel has been one of my favorites in the Austrian capital ever since it opened. The high-quality, unique and above all Austrian-made furnishings, the art collection, the good taste, but also the outstanding and friendly service have made the hotel and its team friends from the very beginning!

It is therefore no surprise to me that even the most discerning guests from all over the world prefer this hotel to many others in Vienna. The great connection to the historic center and the location on Vienna's largest shopping street are further advantages. I regularly pick up guests from the hotel to show them a very special Vienna.

WHAT INSIDER TIPS FOR VIENNA DO YOU HAVE FOR OUR HOTEL MOTTO GUESTS?

LOW SEASON - BEST SEASON
Experience Vienna not only in the high season, but also on weekdays and during the winter months. Especially in January and February, you hardly need any reservations and can enjoy the city spontaneously - be it for a coffee or a visit to a museum. The City Card is essential here. The ice rink in front of the town hall and the many balls are another reason to visit.

SHOPPING IN THE NEIBOURGHOOD
The area surrounding the Hotel Motto in particular hides some treasures.
Neubau is home to the well-known photo gallery WestLicht, the trimmings maker Maurer, the designer Susanne Bisovsky - who has just designed the costumes for the ballet of the New Year's Concert - and the old silversmiths Jarosinsky & Vaugoin (visits to Bisovsky and Vaugoin by appointment only). The Mühlbauer hat manufactory not only makes hats for world stars, but also for you!
