Concept Store, Branding Studio & MOTTO FRIENDS

Who are you? What do you do?

We are Patrick Bauer and Georg Leditzky, and we run the concept store "Sellerie" and the branding studio of the same name. Our showroom for European design, art, and things that make life more beautiful is located on Burggasse in Vienna's 7th district. We see "Sellerie" as a meeting place for talent, craftsmanship, and enthusiasm for design—both in the showroom and in our online shop at diesellerie.com

WHAT DO YOU ASSOCIATE WITH HOTEL MOTTO VIENNA?

We love the greenery on Schadekgasse: Every time we pass it on our way home, we enjoy this diverse feast for the eyes! Cocktails at "CHEZ BERNARD" are always a delicious highlight! We are very impressed by the meticulous attention to detail and the loving design of the Hotel MOTTO: a true delight for all the senses and aesthetes from near and far.

YOU'RE MOTTO FRIENDS, WHAT CONNECTS YOU WITH US?

The desire for the good life and the ambition to go the extra mile for our customers and guests – and in doing so, always trying to think outside the box with curiosity and cheerfulness and to do somersaults into the modern age!

WHAT INSIDER TIPS FOR VIENNA DO YOU HAVE FOR OUR HOTEL MOTTO GUESTS?

Delicious pastries and sweet treats can be found at "La petite Crème de la Crème" on Kettenbrückengasse. Vintage furniture, home accessories, quirky items, and gorgeous costume jewelry can be discovered at our dear friends at "BANANAS Mobiliar", also on Kettenbrückengasse, right next to the Naschmarkt. We're huge fans of the vintage fashion from "Wolfmich", and the selection and styling in the store never cease to amaze us. The queer-feminist bookstore "o*books" not only offers a wide variety of reading material, but also regularly hosts readings, concerts, and workshops—these sessions take place in the shop in the 2nd district or at various locations throughout the city. If you want things to get a little wilder at night, then we're drawn to "Rhinoplasty" at Club U in the Künstlerhauspassage: The heartfelt project by and with Andy Reiter is one of the shining stars in the queer Viennese night (club) sky.
