WHAT INSIDER TIPS FOR VIENNA DO YOU HAVE FOR OUR HOTEL MOTTO GUESTS?

Hidden Alleys:
Explore the lesser-known alleys and neighborhoods in the surrounding area (7th, 6th, and 5th districts), the charming cafes, boutiques, and art galleries off the nearby famous Mariahilfer Straße.

Museums and Exhibitions:
Vienna is home to numerous museums and art institutions. I'm a fan of interactive exhibitions, exhibitions that connect with visitors' personal experiences. Therefore, I recommend HANDS UP – Immerse yourself in the world of silence: www.handsup.wien. The permanent exhibition is located in the second district, in Vienna's Jewish Quarter, which is also worth exploring.

Art and Culture:
Vienna is a cultural mecca! Keep an eye out for local events, exhibitions, and concerts. In addition to the major cultural venues (such as the Opera, Burgtheater, etc.), there are numerous excellent cabaret venues. A long-standing cultural heritage lies in the Diversity Ball. A special and diverse ball with six stages and hundreds of artists, where everyone is welcome, is the Diversity Ball. This takes place annually on the first Saturday in September: www.diversityball.at

Markets:
The Naschmarkt is arguably the most famous market and is within walking distance. Great market cultures have now developed in almost every district, which are worth discovering and visiting. For example, the Meidlinger Markt, the Karmelitermarkt, or the Vorgartenmarkt.

Recommendations for local restaurants/coffeehouses:
Vienna is known for its coffeehouse culture. There are numerous great coffeehouses and restaurants near the hotel. My tip is the beautiful Cafe Savoy, on the left Wienzeile, near the Naschmarkt. In a particularly charming atmosphere you can experience the Viennese scene and have a wonderful time.
